Much like Dan, Lutz was studying engineering before deciding his career lay elsewhere. He decided to follow his dreams ans pursue a career in acting and modelling.

Lutz is dating Sharni Vinson, with as describing her as "on of the most stunnings chicks I've ever laid my eyes on".
